I appreciate that medical centres are frequently under-resourced and over subscribed and there appears to be a genuine will from the staff at Dinas Lane to provide the very best service they can, however.... In my experience there is little or no monitoring of elderly patients that don't present to the surgery, there's an assumption that if they aren't making contact, then they mustn't have medical concerns or issues. Invariably when patients do present themselves to the surgery its often will issues that could have been foreseen and/or treated before they become significant or critical. There is a false economy in the belief that patients don't need to be monitored, early treatment is often cheaper, more effective and better for the well-being of the elderly....
