Summary: Slightly alarming

I came in to the surgery after 17 days of being unwell. The doctor who seen me was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately he advised me to go home, rest and told me it was important for me to eat. I then pushed for him to give me a referral to the hospital and after he dipped the urine he did seem concerned. I went to the hospital where I was diagnosed with pneumonia and sepsis. If I would have gone home there’s a big possibility I could have died. I am not complaining I just want the healthcare professionals working there to be more alert to red flag symptoms in patients.
